This painting depicts a sparrow surrounded by plenty to remind us of the seasons when we are surrounded by blessings…to be thankful in those seasons of plenty. that the plenty around us wasn’t earned or established by our power, but by His. That He ultimately provides.
It’s also a reminder that He will continue to provide for our needs, just as Jesus said:
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”—Matt. 6:26
