My High Tower

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress…” Psalm 18:2

The high tower...

The Mended in Gold Collection
Sitting on the roof tops scanning on what is below can bring immense perspective…a peace that, yes, we are small, but God is big and still in control…that as the Psalmist says,
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my stronghold in who I take refuge, my shield, the glory of my salvation, and my high tower” –Psalm 18:2
This painting is a part of my Mended in Gold collection–a series of art depicting faces and people with touches of metallic gold ink to represent the golden beauty that shines forth when we are broken.
