This was another hymn from our hymnal growing up that I remember loving.
My favorite verse was this one—“How sweet to hold a newborn baby—but greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He lives”
Because we live on the other side of the cross—because he rose from the dead, and gave us hope, we don’t have to fear tomorrow—and how comforting to know that He holds the future—especially as a mom, I need reminding of this everyday—that my children can face uncertain days because He lives.
